DIANE SUZUKI is nationally recognized for her expertise in strategic legal graphics. After 20 years as an Art Director for national litigation consulting companies such as Litigation Sciences, Inc., DecisionQuest and Vinson & Company, Diane founded Lucid CGI, Inc. in 2005.
Diane has created demonstratives for over 1,000 trials, arbitrations and hearings. She initially entered the field of demonstrative evidence as a forensic medical and technical illustrator in 1983. In 1985, Diane shifted to corporate litigation and has amassed extensive experience in all major case types over a broad range of industries.
Ms. Suzuki’s most notable recent engagements include Monsanto v. DuPont (patent infringement plaintiff, trial), U.S. v. McWane Inc. (environmental crime and worker endangerment defense, trial), ConocoPhillips v. Government of Republica Democratica De Timor-Leste (tax assessment defense, international arbitration), Audit Committee of Las Vegas Sands Corporation (fraud defense, hearing), and John Cassese v. dick clark productions, inc. and 19 Entertainment, Inc. (intellectual property defense, trial). In addition, Diane worked on the high-profile criminal trials prosecuting the Menendez brothers, Calvin Broadus (Rapper Snoop Dogg), and OJ Simpson, as well as the civil wrongful death suit against Simpson.
Diane has been invited to speak about visual strategy and presentation technology to the Los Angeles Bar Association, Caltrans’ Tort Committee and USC’s Master of Science in Applied Psychology program. At Art Center College of Design (Pasadena, CA), she was a Fine Art graduate advisor. Diane has also lectured about Fine Art at UC Santa Barbara, the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, and various community colleges.
Diane is a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants, the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and is a Claremont Graduate University Fellow.
